2026 Quad State Middle School Band Festival

We are thrilled to announce the application  for the 2026 Quad State Middle School Band Festival on Monday, November 23rd on the campus of Murray State University. Please only submit Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets forms - NO PDFs!

Applications are due by October 6, 2026 by 5:00PM and the fee this year will be $30 per student AND INCLUDES a T-SHIRT for each student.

Once again this year, we will have three bands of equal ability, and we will offer one Honor Band. The Honor Band will require an audio or video file link containing two components:
-F Concert Scale & Ab Concert Scale - multiple octaves if possible, but however they can play them best. No whole notes please!
-Excerpts in the folder HERE, from pieces selected by our Honor Band conductor. Each pdf is labeled by instrument, with marked cuts. 

Students should include both the audition excerpt AND the F & Ab concert scale in the same link. You will see a place in the application to add the link. Please upload each student's audition to the web and include the link in your nomination form. PLEASE make sure all links work, and all permissions are unlocked. Unaccessible videos will be disqualified from the honor band process. 

Once students have been selected, we will return an invoice for you to process and keep for your records. Thanks in advance to those of you who are able to help us process payment prior to the day of the festival, it certainly takes some of the chaos of the day away!
